World Record Attempting Winter Wonderland

It’s all fireworks and festivities this July with Winter Wonderland happening on our very own doorstep at the 2017 Prince of Peace Lutheran College Fete, Saturday 22 July, 11am – 6pm.

Families can enjoy a fun-filled day, jam packed with rides, food, stalls and even a world record attempt adjudicated by Mr Tim Mander MP, member of Everton.

Get your dancing shoes on and be part of a Guinness World Record for the ‘Largest Polka Dance’ attempt set for midday. With the current record of 802 participants set by a German dance group in 2013, the Prince of Peace Lutheran College Fete’s searching for 803+ Heel to Toe Polka dance goers to support a group of Year 4 students in their world stage attempt. Guaranteed to end with a bang, be sure to see the day’s end with official closing fireworks to celebrate the community spirit.

Registrations for the world record attempt open from 10:45am with live demonstration on stage prior to midday. All members of public welcome. For further information visit www.princeofpeace.qld.edu.au.
