Local Not for Profit creative hub and community garden  'The Nest' are hosting a Trash and Treasure/Open Garden Day on the 20th July 2019 from 10am to 3pm.There will be trash n treasure, books, preserves, plants, handmade items, kids activities, chicken and duckling cuddles in their garden. There will  also be live music, craft workshop demonstrations including rag rug making, Bento bags making, Mexican Embroidery and more. Professional Tree Climbing Competitions are held around the world to provide a platform for Arborists to learn about the latest in climbing techniques and innovations in equipment. Arana Touch Sign On

Arana Touch are now preparing for the upcoming season commencing on Wednesday 28th August.  The season will run until the week school breaks up in term 4 and training is on a Wednesday. Divisions are separate for boys and girls in under 10, 12, 14, 16, 18. The under 8 division is  mixed. The Sign On afternoon will take place on the 7th August at Hanran Street, Keperra from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. Alternatively, players can sign on now via the website www.aranatouch.sportingpulse.net.

They meet on the third Friday of each month at the OES Hall, 2 Bohland Street, Kedron.  The group welcome a guest speaker at each monthly meeting who discusses matters of interest to members. The group also have various social events occurring during the year such as their Bus Trips.
